El Patrón Cycling was set up as a platform for my pro cycling previews and betting analysis, and as a creative outlet during the first Covid lockdown in 2020.

I’m a keen but very amateur cyclist. Intermittently, I’m the Strava ‘Local Legend’ on some of the hills around Surrey. For the uninitiated, this is a rolling digital award for the most rides on a Strava-registered segment or climb. It’s very much not an award for the fastest time on them.

In real life, I work for a sports betting tech company based in London.
